Welcome
to Encore Academy of Performing Arts, Yorba Linda's
premier theatrical arts studio!
Encore Academy of Performing Arts grew out of
the requests of parents of the summer performers of the Yorba
Linda Spotlight Theater Company - to provide group and private
classes in the performing arts – musical theater, piano, voice
and acting.
There is nothing like this in Yorba Linda, much
less North Orange County. All the members of our
teaching staff love what we do and are grateful for the
opportunity to spread our love of music, theater, singing and
acting to the children and teens of North Orange County.
Whether a child or teen never ends up on the big
stage, we believe strongly that the opportunities offered here
will develop the whole person. Poise, confidence and
talent all work together — whether on the stage, in
school now, or later in college, or in the workplace.
Besides learning about the theater, our acting
classes help young people to speaking clearly and boldly, to
think fast on their feet, to project ideas in understandable
ways.
Our voice classes emphasize the fun of singing
— but with proper projection and breath control — and
hopefully on key too!
And learning how to play the piano is a skill
that no adult ever regrets having, but we've tapped into the
best pedagogical training in the field so that learning the
piano is both fun and rewarding for the student now.
We believe that it isn't too early to begin a
love of music . We have two licensed Kindermusik® teachers (who
teach classes for infants through age three) and we will
continue to emphasize the benefits of early exposure to music.
Our overall goal at Encore Academy of Performing
Arts is to foster a supportive, happy and wholesome environment
for our students to find a variety of ways to express who they
are –to "find their star".
We believe there is a unique creative gift or
talent waiting to be found and developed in each child.
We welcome you to visit us in our beautiful
studio. We're happy to give you a tour of our facilities,
and discuss our classes.
